Position Description

A recognized services organization in Minnesota is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as their new Occupational Health Nurse.
About the Opportunity:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Hours: 630a-3p (30 min lunch break)

Responsibilities:
The Occupational Health Nurse (RN) will:

  • Perform assessments and examination
  • Follow standings orders and perform clinic labs testing as appropriate.
  • Perform routine surveillance screening/tests, including: substance abuse testing; respirator fit tests; spirometry; audiogram; vision screening; phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens;, and, EKGs (as applicable)
  • Provide case management services for disability and work-related cases
  • Provide preventative health, wellness, and Employee Assistance Program guidance and support
  • Provide after-hours clinic support
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Nursing experience
  • Graduate of an accredited School of nursing
  • MN Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Occupational Health experience
